What to expect
MUSE is in private alpha. It’s feature-rich but still early, so here’s what to expect.
This is an alpha
Section titled “This is an alpha”Expect rough edges, occasional bugs, and interface details that will change. Do not use MUSE as the sole home for irreplaceable work during alpha — always keep copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. See Backups & safety for how MUSE protects your work.
Releases
Section titled “Releases”- Cadence: expect a new build roughly every 2–3 weeks.
- Project files: the
.musefile format is stable during alpha — your projects should keep opening across builds. Settings and interface state may reset between versions. - Updates: there’s no in-app auto-updater yet, so you’ll download new builds manually. You’ll be notified when a new build is available.
Communication
Section titled “Communication”You’ll receive an email or message when a new build is ready. Your feedback channel and any private chat will be shared with your build.
Thank you
Section titled “Thank you”Thank you for being part of this. Every report and reaction from the alpha shapes MUSE 1.0.
